The Badminton club provides a friendly atmosphere for players with different abilities and backgrounds. We have members from countries all over the world, joining our club not only means taking part in a competitive sport but also interacting with people who have other interests, cultures and languages.
Besides normal practice sessions, we also take part in intra-mural tournaments, the BUSA and Avon Badminton Leagues, and arrange friendlies with other universities. The club is also involved with volunteering and coaching programs which you can become part of. Coaching and mentoring is available for all members whatever their level.
Throughout the year the committee will organize regular socials at various venues across Bristol for our members to enjoy.
As with previous years the club has been sponsored by forza, this has lead to many great deals on equipment and clothing for our members!
We are committed to our recreational members and try to promote participation in badminton, as well as encouraging competitive play. This has taken our club to new heights, and the highlights of the 07-08 season which include being voted the best sports club of 07-08 and the best volunteer club of 07-08
