Who are we ???

UWE Canoe Club is one of the oldest clubs at UWE, and we are a well-known and respected canoe club throughout the country.

We offer paddling for everyone of all abilities and both sexes, in many different disciplines of the sport. You ask, we'll sort it...

We organise trips at the weekends, starting at the easy end of the scale and working our way up to some classic white water. When the swell is in we're also known to go rip it up at surf beaches throughout Devon and Wales.

Not only do we cater for all types of paddling we are also one of the most sociable clubs at UWE, regularly getting up to all sorts of mischief and mayhem throughout the south west....

Is the canoe club for me????

Put simply.... YES... whether or not you want to paddle every week or you just want to turn up occasionally or even if you don't want to paddle at all. You will always be welcome. Our main activity is our weekly pool session on Sunday nights at the Bristol University swimming pool. The pool session will cost one golden nugget, and is where you will learn all the basic skills.

Pub

This years pub is The Berkeley, top of Park Street. So come along and have a good time and a few drink if you want, we not hard to miss just look for the people in orange hoodies!!!
