INTERESTED IN JOINING?
So you're interested in joining? Good! By far the easiest method of payment is online through the UWESU website using paypal and here is a short guide to make it easier for you.
First stop is the UWESU website www.uwesu.org from there you must log in on the left hand side of the page. Fill in any details it asks for and then there is a link on the left hand side of the page labeled 'Sports and Societies' Click it!
This will take you onto the page where you can join up to many of the sports clubs or societies online. Simply choose climbing from the list then select join. The page will reload but under 'your memberships' you should see a message saying Incomplete Memberships in red and climbing underneath it. Scroll to the bottom of the page and fill in your next of kin details (these are extremely important for the climbing club and you will not be permitted to partake in any trip without them up to date) then simply click save at the bottom.
Right almost there, now next to Climbing there will be two options, remove this membership (of course not!) and add to cart, click this and you're almost there, on the left hand side under shopping cart it should now read Items: 1 (£12.00) Unless you're buying anything else! Click view basket then followed by proceed to checkout and there you are, the rest simply requires a pay pal payment!
Once the payment has been accepted you will then be a full member of the club! Finally all you have to do is go to the UWESU Sports and Activities office, 5F on frenchay campus and tell them you've joined the club and need a sticker on your NUS. All they'll do is place a small sticker on the back of your NUS card so we can see that you've joined! It's that simple.
