Hello, welcome to the web
site for the
University of the West of
England
Mountain and Hill Walking Club, which
is part of the
UWE Students' Union.
If you want to see the great British
countryside, get away from
Bristol for a weekend and meet some
great people this is the club for you!
This year we have numerous weekend trips planned
to places such as the Lake District,
Snowdonia and The
Yorkshire Dales. To see when they are

We cater for all
levels of hiking and always have a
range of walks for the complete beginner
to the expert mountain climber. All our walks
are lead by experienced leaders,
who have all completed a full training course. |

The Social

However, the club is not
all about hiking! We have an active social
programme as well. We regularly have
social events in Bristol, such as
pub crawls, ice skating
and a Christmas meal. See the
social page for more information.
We meet at
a pub
in Bristol City Centre every Wednesday
evening, where you can meet the Committee, sign
up for a trip and get a
cheap drink. |

enough people whom wish to go on one. We have
been to many fantastic places abroad. |
