Globe Café is a friendly place to come and relax with other international students and meet some British people who come along to help out. Chat, drink tea and coffee, eat homemade cakes, play board games, play table tennis or pool, practice your English.

The International Student Society of UWE is a place for UWE students to meet. The society loves to go out to the city centre and party the night away in some cultural night events. If you want to hook up on a popular society made by students, this is it!

Committee and members of the ISoc are available to help and advise students with regard to religious matters arising in student life on campus. Events will include monthly talks by known speakers, Ramadan Iftar as well as celebrating festivals of the Islamic calendar. Also, this year, the committee will work hard to organise knowledge circles on a weekly basis for both Sisters and Brothers. We will do our best to organise joint events with other Islamic societies such as Bristol, Cardiff and Bath Universities. This will help to enlarge the community and diversity of events. Organising some events on other UWE campuses is another important milestone of the ISoc. These events are also valuable for non-Muslim members as it is an opportunity to learn about Islam and different cultures in a multi-cultural society. We work together with the University to provide facilities for prayers and religious doings. A permanent prayer room with a small library of valuable Islamic books is located in 3E41 at Frenchay.

The main objective of Russian Society is to bring together Russian, Russian-speaking and those who are anyhow interested in Russia. Our secondary objective is enrich students life, make it more interesting by organizing the wide range of social activates, which will be designed in a way that promotes Russian Culture, Language, Historical Heritage and Religion.
