Hello and Welcome to UWE Netball Club!!
Once again the season of 08/09 has been another successful one!! UWE Netball has gone from strength to strength throughout the past season both on and off the court.
Firstly though let me tell you a little bit about our club. We comprise of three teams, all of which compete in different BUCS leagues. So whether you want to play regular, competitive netball against the top Universities in the country, or just play for fun and to keep fit, we have something for everyone, here at UWE Netball.
Still think this isn’t for you?. Don’t worry! We run a Social Sport Netball League every Thursday evening 18.00-22.00 at the Centre for Sport on Frenchay campus where you can come along by yourself or with a group of friends from your course, your flat etc. The great thing about Intramural is that both Girls and Guys can play!!
The UWE weekly social is held every Wednesday night at Walkabout with the Footballers, and everyone is invited out to venture into the city centre. There is no easier way to make 60 friends in one night then on a Netball social!!
Also we can not forget the best week of your life which will be are annual tour, where we join thousands of other students competing in their chosen sports for the ‘Tour Champions’ title. UWE have been Lloret de Mar tour champions for both 06 and 07 and were runners up in 2008 in Salou.
