PRESIDENT: GABRIELLE PRATTEN

Hi guys!

I am really excited to be your netball president for this year. Along with the rest of the committee, I am here to ensure that you get the most out of UWE Netball and have the best experience possible of university.

I am currently a second year law student who has a lot of determination to make things happen. That said, I have high hopes for all 3 UWE Netball teams this forthcoming season. Having seen what the squad was capable of last year, this is the opportunity to train hard and push for promotion and success.

Although I take training and matches seriously, i'm first at the bar and last off the dancefloor on a Wednesday evening social.

I can't imagine my fresher year without the people I have met through playing netball for UWE. It made the initial settling in alot easier and I now have the best bunch of people around me.

UWE Netball in 2008 and 2009 is something not to be missed. I look forward to seeing you at St.Matts Fresher's Fair on 23rd September / Frenchay Fresher's Fair on Friday 26th September.

Hey im Jade im going into my second year studying Law. My role is to help Gabby with all the president work and work with the other girls on the committee to make sure that the club runs as smoothly as possible. I want everyone to have a brilliant year and really enjoy themselves so im here for any problems or ideas you may have and want to share. We have great fun every Wednesday night and i loved going on tour so it will be the same for you guys. I made some great friends threw netball and im sure you guys will aswell ,so make sure you come along join in and have some fun.

Hi my name is Sinead I'm one of your social secs this year. Im a second
year doing criminology. My lectures are on fenchay and this year im
workin in the su bar so should be around campus alot. I am here to make
sure that you have as much fun as possible. At UWE netball we work hard
and play even harder lol so wateva theme, nights out and events you
wanna do just let us no and we can arrange it, you guys know wat you want
and what you like to do to have a gud time so were here to make sure that
happens. Just watch out for tour cuz trust me it will be the best week
of your year. So take it easy before you come to uwe cuz you gonna need to
save all ur energy for having a brill time and making sum great firends.

SOCIAL SECRETARY: NADIA FREEMAN

HI GUYS!!! My names Nadia and I am one of your social secs for this year! I am a second year law student along with Gaby our president! Although I no longer live on any campus, I spend most of my time at Frenchay so if any of you see me around dont be afraid to say hey! As a social sec it is mine and Sinead's job to ensure that you have the best time here at UWE! Especially with netball! I had an amazing time at all social events last year and particularly enjoyed tour, and if anything i want to ensure that you guys have the same, if not a better experience! Not only are Sinead and I here to provide fun and antics on a Wednesday night, we are also here to help you guys settle in and help you find you feet! If you need anything netball related or not, myself and all the committee gals are here to make sure your time at UWE is as AMAZING as ours!! Looking forward to seeing you in september, and at the freshers fair!
