Hello and Welcome to UWE Netball Club!!

Once again the season of 07/08 has been another successful one!! UWE Netball has gone from strength to strength throughout the past season both on and off the court.

  UWE Netball 1st finished top of the league undefeated for the 2nd season in a row. They made the quarter finals of the Championship playoffs and gained promotion into the premiership league. UWE Netball is now 1 of 3 UWE teams to hold a premiership position. UWE Netball 2nd finished 3rd and UWE Netball 3rds finished 5th with some amazing team performances through out the season.

It was a closely fright in the varsity tournament in April 2008 with both UWE 2nd &3rd teams narrowly missing out on varsity wins. UWE 1st however managed to retain the title from both Bath &Bristol.

It is our mission to continue the success of previous season through 2008/2009 and push for the promotion of both UWE Netball 2nd's and UWE Netball 3rds.

The Intra-mural Netball league has continued to improve throughout 07/08 and is now bigger and better then ever. We are looking to maintain the high numbers of participating players throughout 08/09 so that it continues to grow and evolve with the rest of the Netball Club.

UWE Netball really can offer something for everyone. For the competitive, keen, experience player there is the opportunity to train hard and play against the best University Netball sides in the south of the UK in challenging 1st team matches. Fir the netball looking for fun , intra-mural netball is the perfect opportunity to keep fit without such a high level of commitment.

The UWE weekly social is held every Wednesday night and everyone is invited out to venture into the city centre. There is no easier way to make 30 friends in one night then on a netball social!!

Also we can not forget the best week of your life which will be are annual tour we join thousands of other students competing in their chosen sports for the tour champions title. UWE have been Lloret de Mar tour champions for both 06 and 07 and were runners up in 2008 in Salou.
