Welcome to the world of Intramural Netball!!

 I'm Vicki, and I run The Intramural Netball at UWE, at the centre for sport on a Thursday evening 7pm-9pm

 

Intramural is a tournament run every Thursday, for everyone and anyone, male or female who enjoys netball no matter what standard it is that you play Teams can be made up of flat mates, course mates, post grads,UWE SU staff or other sports clubs and society members. Whether your part of a team already, a few friends or just an individual wanting to play netball come along! We will make sure that you are put into a team Time Every Thursday, 7pm-9pm at the Centre for Sport, on Frenchay campus. Membership fee £35 and can be paid on the 5th floor of the Student Union – although this price may initially scare you, I can assure you that you are definitely getting your monies worth. As this cost covers: Your court time for the academic year Insurance Affiliation to England Netball Free 1st aid courses Free umpire courses Free People Carrier test Free Minibus Test Discounted clothing/access to online shop ...and by far the most important thing... the great social nights that we sure with UWE Netball on a WEDNESDAY evening!!! Wednesday Socials Social nights are held every Wednesday at The Sports Café in the city centre, everyone is welcome, so please come along and bring your friends and flatmates!!! Every week there will be games, dressing up themes, discounted food and drink promotions! EVERYBODY IS WELCOME! If you have any queries I will be at both the Bower Ashton (Monday 24th September) and Frenchay (Friday 28th September) freshers fair! So please look out for me on the Netball stand, and I will be happy to answer any of your questions!   During the year there will be information on here regarding fixtures and results of the intramural league. At the end of the year at the Sports Awards Dinner, the winners of the Intramural league are announced and receive an award!  2006/07 winners were the UWE SU!!!!
