At UWE there are many opportunities to gain qualifications for free through the university and this year it would be really good for the netball girls to take full advantage of this opportunity. Why not gain a qualification which may prove useful in the future (and look great on your c.v. and may help you get good job after graduating)

Umpiring Courses

It'salways helpful and useful to the club to have umpires no matter what level and the qualification is so if you’re interested UWE offer a umpiring course which is of course FREE!! Having a umpiring qualification is really helpful aswel if you are intersted in the coaching course!

Coaching in the Community

The netball club has recently become active and involved in the community by coaching netball in local primary schools. If this is something that you would like to become involved in, and it is something that really is worth the time. All you would have to do is take a level 1 coaching course This is not as time consuming as it sounds it would only be a one slot for 1hr or 2hrs. This also looks great on your C.V. to employers and you can also get recognition for your involvement in the scheme.
