Whether you know anyone or not come along and you will soon get to know lots of people!

As we have done for the last few years we have our socials with the football lads, who are a good giggle and play the best drinking games! You also get to meet all the other sports clubs, which is great because it means you meet so many different types of people! (",)

 Around christmas time we like to celebrate the end of our first time by having a joint Netball & Football Christmas ball! Its a great excuse to get dressed up in a fancy dress and dance the night away in killer heels!!

The highlight of our social calender is our trip to Lloret De Mar, University Sports Tour.

For the Wednesday nights out if anyone has any ideas about dressing up themes or games please let us know, these are YOUR nights so we want them to be what you want them to be!

 At the beginning of term there is a welcome party which will be held at Sports Cafe on   Weds 10th October, this is a really good chance to get to know the rest of the squad  and join in the FUN! Please come along and bring friends, flatmates and anyone else you would like!

The Sports Café have provided us with sponsorship for the club this season which will allow us to give you guys the best nights out as well as excellent training facilities, so PLEASE help us to support them by attending Wednesday nights whether it be for one drink or many!!!

Don't worry though, UWE netball isn't all about getting drunk so drinking is not essential as long as you come out and have a good time,  that's what matters to us!

Varsity Day

One of the biggest and best days of netball is our VARSITY DAY! This is a great chance for us to play our rivals BRISTOL UNIVERSITY and BATH UNIVERSITY! Its a good day to play netball and have a laugh! We have been successful in retaining the Netball Varsity trophy for three years in a row, and we want you guys to come and help us continue our success!! 

Each of our teams at UWE have their own Varsity match amd we go along and support our UWE teams at Varsity by getting t-shirts printed and chanting the loudest. Rugby and Football Varsity are always a good night out and the more girls we get the louder we can sing!!!

Sports Awards Dinner

At the end of the sport season  there is the Sports Awards Dinner, which is a formal meal where awards are given out to sports clubs for their achievements over the year. Last year netball won Best team for the 1st team and for the second year in a row BEST SPORTS CLUB, which has never been done before at UWE!! GET IN!!
