The Diving
There are some spectacular dive-sites in the area teaming with life suitable for all levels of diving. The Brixham Breakwater beach is great for training and is where we will be basing ourselves for the weekend. A great variation in wildlife can be found here whilst you are training.

Dive from the beach or take the club ribs out to some of the local reefs or wrecks in the area.

The Centre
Grenville house over looks Brixham harbour and is only a short walk the local dive site, so therefore a short walk back for food and hot drinks! There are drying facilities for your wet suits so they will be nice and dry in the morning ?.

The centre has dormitory style accommodation and provides all the bedding, though a sleeping bag is advisable.

Food and Drinks
• Friday night
You'll have to fend for yourselves, you are welcome to use the kitchen in the centre or alternatively there are a choice of takeaways just a five minute walk away.
• Saturday and Sunday Day
Breakfast - full English, cereals, orange juice and toast etc, etc.
Lunch - Sandwiches, soup, chocolate and crisps… help yourself!!
• Saturday Night
Two-course Meal.

Hot and cold drinks are available all day!

Requirements (you cannot dive without these items!!!!)
• Mask, fins, booties and snorkel
• Suitable dive suit – 2 piece 7mm Semi dry recommended.
• Weight belt with enough lead, ask an instructor for advice.

Organise any rental equipment in plenty of time or better still borrow if you can. If you have a healthy bank balance you could buy, there are some second hand bits of kit ‘floating’ around (check the web site). Don’t be shy ask an instructor if you need advice.

The club will be taking Regulators, Stab Jackets and Cylinders for you to use as well as our two boats.

Getting there

Take the M5 south and then onto the A38 then take the A380 through Newton Abbot to Torquay and along the Hamelin Way (A380) until it reaches the A3022 (Heading for Brixham).

When you get to Brixham, there is a fork in the road take the right and follow signs to the Marina. You will get to a mini roundabout at the bottom of a hill overlooking the sea, take the Berry Head road, Grenville House is a big building on the left.
